Position Overview
Developing and executing social media strategies. They create engaging content, optimize company pages, and foster community interaction. Social media specialists are knowledgeable in various social media platforms and utilize analytics to drive customer engagement, website traffic, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
▪ Executing social media strategies, creating and publishing content to various platforms in English, Kurdish and Arabic slangs, and interacting with their communities and audiences, responsible for measuring results by tracking metrics and insights on each platform.
▪ Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community and reply customer inquires, requests and complaints.
▪ Building and executing social media strategies, through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
▪ Generating and publishing daily content, optimizing company pages on various platforms, moderating user-generated content, analyzing social data, and collaborating with other departments to manage reputation and coordinate actions.
▪ Possess expertise in social media marketing, strong consulting and communication skills, and knowledge of e-commerce and online marketing.
▪ Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
▪ Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information.
▪ Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales, etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.
Knowledge
▪ BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, or relative certificate.
▪ In-depth knowledge of marketing communications channels, social media marketing, e-com marketing, and market research methods.
▪ Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels in Iraq.
▪ Applicable knowledge of marketing data analytics and tools.
Skills
▪ 3-4 years of proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist.
▪ Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.
▪ Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
▪ Hands-on experience with marketing software, working effectively within Google Suite is a plus.
▪ Fluency in English, Kurdish and Arabic slangs (written and spoken), excellent communication skills.
▪ Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, and SEO.
