Sales Manager _Iraq

Key Responsibilities

Participate in area sales targets and ensure the attainment of the annual revenue goals in line with the country manager and Regional Sales Director.

Develop and execute sales strategies to drive fragrance sales and open new markets locally

Manage sales activities across ad hoc market segments to align with business goals through the marketing department direction.

Analyze and monitor current or potential markets and competitors to implement effective action plans.

Lead and mentor sales teams, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.

Build and maintain productive, long-term relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and fostering loyalty.

Negotiate contracts, promotional plans, and product innovations to meet customer needs in line with both country manager and Regional Directors.

Resolve customer issues

Manage local exhibitions and travel to visit customers as necessary.

Ensure that the sales reporting system is fully compliant and accurately reflects performance against targets.

Develop and implement business-driving events to achieve sales department objectives.

Participate in regular communication with vendors, planners, distributors, and buyers regarding stock needs, customer preferences, and special events in line with Country Manager
Knowledge:
-
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

In-depth understanding of sales strategies and the ability to apply them across diverse markets.

Knowledge of fragrance industry dynamics and key market segments Minimum 2 years of experience

Proficiency in market analysis, competitor analysis, and creating action plans.

Expertise in contract negotiation and managing customer relationships.
-
Familiarity with international sales operations and multi-market business development.

Knowledge of perfume industry standards and practices.
-
Awareness of international markets and global business trends, especially in the fragrance sector.
Skills:

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sales management, with a proven track record of managing and expanding sales.

Fluent in Arabic, and English.

Strong leadership and management skills to guide sales teams effectively and foster a high-performance culture.

Excellent negotiation skills to close deals and secure favourable contracts.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with internal teams, clients, and external partners.

Analytical skills for evaluating sales performance, market trends, and competitor data.

Proficiency in using sales reporting systems, CRM software, and office tools to track and report sales performance.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with organizing exhibitions and business-driving events.
