Primary Function:

  • Leading a team of thinkers and doers, the creative director will bring a mix of marketing expertise and business acumen to the role, promoting our company and those of our valued clients. 
  • Managing all graphic design tasks, refining projects and drafts, and generating creative ideas. 
  • Ensure that the design team promotes the vision of the company through high-quality graphic content.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Experienced in branding, visualizing, social media reels and video editing.
  • Manage and lead the creative teams, including designers, copywriters, and collaborate marketers, to develop the overall visual direction for a project or campaign.
  • Brainstorming and generating ideas that reflect the company’s vision.
  • Directing the design of layouts, visuals, graphics, typography, and photography for various media formats.
  • Ensuring consistency with brand guidelines, tone, and visual identity across all channels.
  • Working closely with internal teams to understand the creative needs and objectives.
  • Managing multiple design projects simultaneously, setting timelines, and ensuring deadlines are met. (A Focal Point)
  • Staying current with design trends, technology, and innovations to integrate fresh ideas into campaigns.
  • Innovating creative solutions that resonate with target audiences and differentiate the brand.
  • Managing, Leading and mentoring designers.
  • Presenting ideas, sketches, and final creative work to Creative Director for approval and feedback.

 

Core Competency Framework:

Knowledge

  • Proven ability to develop successful concepts, and manage and direct or the sequences to the final design stage.
  • Experience as a copywriting, Art & graphic designer, visual storytelling and production artist.
  • Full awareness of AI tools and developed actual designs with AI technologies.
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After effect will be preferred)
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
  • Creative with the ability to make designs from scratch.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, interior design, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a creative role, preferably in an advertising agency, marketing department, or design studio.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Have good knowledge of corporate branding, digital media and color theory.
  • Working experience with image design tools (e.g. Photoshop,Illustrator and indesign)
  • Previous experience in the MENA region is a big plus.
