Primary Function:

Developing and executing social media strategies. They create engaging content, optimise company pages, and foster community interaction. Social media specialists are knowledgeable in various social media platforms and utilise analytics to drive customer engagement, website traffic, and revenue growth.  

Main Tasks:

  • Develop and execute tailored social media strategies for the Lebanese market.
  • Generate, schedule, and publish content across multiple platforms.
  • Interact with followers and manage online community engagement.
  • Monitor and moderate user-generated content in line with each platform’s community guidelines.
  • Track key performance metrics and analyse social media insights to measure success and make improvements.
  • Optimise company profiles/pages for visibility and engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, customer service, etc.) to align messaging and manage online reputation.
  • Conduct competitive research and benchmarking to inform strategy.
  • Create and maintain editorial calendars and content publishing schedules.
  • Continuously analyse social media trends, metrics, and performance to identify and apply best practices.
  • Coordinate with marketing agencies on content creation, video production, and influencer campaigns.
  • Manage e-commerce order handling across all online sales channels, ensuring timely processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with logistics and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
  • Oversee and coordinate all social media marketing, e-commerce operations, and external collaborations with agencies.                                                                                                      

Qualifications

  • BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related certificate.
  • 2-3 years of proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
  • In-depth knowledge of traditional, field marketing, trade marketing and market research methods.
  • Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Applicable knowledge in marketing, data analytics and tool
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools
  • Hands-on experience with marketing software, working effectively within the Google suite is a plus.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken), excellent communication skills.
