Position Overview:
The Export Sales Officer supports the export sales operations by coordinating international sales activities, managing customer accounts, processing export orders, and assisting in market development. The role works closely with the Export Manager to ensure smooth execution of export sales, documentation, and customer satisfaction across assigned markets.
Key Responsibilities
1- Support the Export Manager in executing international sales strategies and achieving export targets.
2- Process and follow up on export sales orders from confirmation to delivery.
3- Maintain accurate sales records, price lists, and customer data.
4- Communicate with international clients regarding orders, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
5- Handle customer inquiries, quotations, and follow-ups.
6- Support market expansion activities and assist in identifying new export opportunities
- Identify and research new export markets, distributors, and business opportunities.
- Generate and qualify leads to acquire new customers and expand the customer base.
7- Prepare and coordinate export documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.).
8- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
9- Coordinate with logistics, shipping agents, and customs brokers as needed.
10 - Coordinate with production, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
11- Follow up on shipments and update customers on delivery status.
12- Support resolution of order-related issues and claims.
13- Prepare sales reports, order status updates, and export performance summaries.
14- Maintain organised digital and physical export files.
15- Provide full support to the Sales Manager in sales-related tasks and departmental coordination
Qualifications & Skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field.
* 1–3 years of experience in export sales, international sales support, or a similar role.
* Basic understanding of export processes, documentation, and international logistics.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
* Strong communication and coordination skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Fluency in English is required.
