 Position Overview

We are looking for a high-performing Sales Manager in our office in Homs - Syria, to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team's potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to the upper management.

Main Tasks

  • Establish area sales targets and ensure the attainment of the agreed annual target of revenue 

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow fragrance sales in the targeted market and plans for opening new markets locally and internationally 

  • Act as a link between the customer issues and the store manager to solve related problems 

  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence

  • Work closely with Perfumers, lab personnel and commercial teams to plan and execute customer projects effectively

  • Developing and maintaining a productive long-term relationship with the customer

  • Manage exhibitions locally and internationally, and travel to visit customers as needed.

  • Ensure the compliance of the sales reporting system with the area to show performance against the plan.

  • Develop and implement business driving events to achieve the sales department’s goals.

  • Communicate regularly with vendors, planners, distributors, and buyers regarding stock needs, customer preferences, and special events

  • Manage the area sales according to the ad hoc segments of the market

  • Ensure the work area is free from hazards and work in a safe manner

Knowledge  and Skills

  • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field

  • Excellent level in English
  • 5 years of professional experience in a similar position.

  • Sales Management: Develop skills in managing a sales team, including setting sales targets, monitoring performance, providing coaching and mentoring, and conducting sales meetings.

  • Communication: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, customers, and other stakeholders.

  • Negotiation: Acquire strong negotiation skills to ensure profitable deals with suppliers, distributors, and retailers.

  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers to enhance sales opportunities and brand visibility.
